FAQ's
What do we need to know about Escape Rooms?
What is an Escape Room?
An Escape Room is an interactive game that transports you right into another world! You and your team must solve a series of clues and puzzles in order to unlock and uncover the secrets of the story and move your way through each space in the room. The end goal is to escape before your 60 minutes are up! Escape Rooms are a perfect indoor activity for friends, families, couples, and even your co-workers.
What are the recommended team sizes?
We can take anywhere from 2-8 people per room, meaning 40 people across 5 Rooms per hour! We have had groups of 2 get out just as fast (if not faster) than groups of 8 so it is doable with any group size! For multi-room bookings, you must have a minimum of 4 people per room, and we can host a total of 40 people in one session.
What happens if I feel locked in? Claustrophobic?
No need to worry! Our rooms are nice and big, there are no extremely small spaces and the entry door is unlocked for you to leave if you feel uncomfortable, which may also be used in an emergency, to use the bathroom during the game or to take a break if needed.
What happens if we don't get out in time?
A Confinement staff member will come and let you out and you will be invited back to try again another day.
What happens in an emergency or if we need help?
Your main exit is the door you entered through, which is always unlocked. If your nearest emergency exit is locked, then it will automatically de-magnetise and open in an emergency, allowing for an easy exit from the room. An app is provided to a designated member of your team to call on our staff for any reason. You may also use the door you entered through to contact staff for assistance. A briefing will be done before the game starts so you know where everything can be found for reassurance.
What do we need to know about Outdoor Games?
What is an outdoor game?
Our outdoor games involve participants solving puzzles and searching for clues to locate specific landmarks within a set time limit. The games promote teamwork, problem-solving, and allow a chance to explore the area, making them a favored option for outdoor recreation.
Perfect for one or multiple teams, ideal for friends, families corporate events and travelers.
What are the recommended team sizes?
A recommended team size is between 2 to 4 players per team. Whilst the games can be played individually they can be a little difficult for one person. Check with staff if you want to play on your own and they can make a recommendation. Talk to us about making this an event, no group is too big!
What happens if the weather looks bad after we have booked?
As the game is played outside, the weather can affect your enjoyment. If you want to reschedule your game give us a call. We can help you rebook or find an alternative indoor option if available. If a suitable option isn't able to be found, we can either provide you with vouchers to use at another time or issue you a refund.

What do I need to bring?
Reading Glasses: We recommend bringing your reading glasses along as they will be very useful for reading clues and digits on our locks if required.
Shoes: We do require shoes to be worn at all times. We recommend not wearing high heels for all games so you can really get into the game.
Sunhat and Water Bottle: For outdoor games.

What are the age limits?
Escape Rooms
Adults aged 14+ years old are all welcome.
Children aged 10 to 13 years old can play without an adult (defined as someone over the age of 14.) but an Adult is required to drop them off and pick them up. The adult making the booking is responsible for the child and any damages caused by them.
Children aged 5 to 9 years old are allowed to play if an adult is also playing (defined as someone over the age of 14.), puzzles are challenging in all rooms so an adult will be required to help children progress through the game. The game is primarily designed for adults. However, some children can be valuable members of a team under adult supervision.
Children under 5 years old (including infants) are not permitted access due to Health & Safety concerns.
Outdoor Games
There are no age restrictions, however, we recommend reading the descriptions or talking to our team about what games are best suited to the age of your team.
Events
Some events have strict age restrictions, please read carefully or talk to our team before booking.
What language are the games in?
