THE KILL ROOM
How to get the best out of our hint system
Each hint for clues will be provided in the order most ideal to solve, however you may have solved these in a different order, make sure you have given all parts of the envelope a go before getting a hint on just one part, you may need to solve an alternate clue to lead onto the other.
If you have given all parts a go and it's time for some help please scroll on down, but wait! not too fast! If you want just a hint then scroll down only until you see the hint, if you keep scrolling it will then tell you how to solve the puzzle and then onto the answer of that puzzle, and then onto the next part of the envelope game of which will repeat the same system finally onto the envelope answer.

Part Four
Hint:
A=T. Translate the codes using the new alphabet for your order and your fourth number.
How to Solve:
Locate all codes and translate using A = T. This means taking the alphabet and moving all letters along so A = T for example B would then equal U, C would equal V, D would equal W, E would equal X, F equals Y and G equals Z and so on. You can write this in a line or more traditionally the clue is ciphered with a translation wheel, of which you can line up A with T which will line up the other letters for you as shown.

How to Solve:
On the victims chart we can see the ‘shape’ of their blood type, looking at the blood type photograph from envelope 2, we can match the shape to B+. Then, using the logic of AB-= 58 and AB+ =25 (From the back of the shopping list clue).
Decoded:
B+ = 5

Hint:
Do you recall what the symbols are worth? Uncode the text to decipher what to do with these numbers. Look at that skull carefully!
How to Solve:
We know Knife, Blood, Skull, Boot = 6547, now we need to decode the letters using A = T again. this will give us instructions on what to do with the numbers. If we look closely we also see we only have half a skull so we need to divide that by 2 to start with.
Decoded:
KPCPKL IF ADV = DIVIDE BY TWO
WSBZ MVBY = PLUS FOUR
APTLZ IF AOYLL = TIMES BY THREE
TPUBZ ZPE = MINUS SIX
This translate to the below:
Knife divided by two: 6 / 2 = ?
Blood plus four: 5 + 4 = ?
Half skull times by three: 2 x 3 = ?
Boot minus six: 7 - 6 = ?
Envelope Answer: 3961
Knife divided by two: 6 / 2 = 3
Blood plus four: 5 + 4 = 9
Half skull times by three: 2 x 3 = 6
